Managing the natural aging process, along with the hormonal imbalances and health challenges that can come with it, can often feel overwhelming.

Low testosterone, or Low-T, is a condition in which a man’s testosterone levels are lower than what is considered normal based on his age and other health factors.
Testosterone plays an important role in sexual function, muscle growth, bone strength, energy, and overall health. Men with Low-T may experience a range of symptoms that affect more than their sexual health.
-
Symptoms of low testosterone may include:
❯ Weight gain
❯ Muscle loss
❯ Erectile dysfunction
❯ Depression
❯ Hair loss
❯ Loss of sex drive
❯ Fatigue
❯ Decreased energy
❯ Memory concerns
❯ Increased irritability
❯ Loss of sleep or poor-quality sleep
Men experiencing signs or symptoms of Low-T should speak with a medical provider to better understand what may be affecting their health.
-
Testosterone replacement therapy may offer a variety of benefits for men with low testosterone levels, including:
❯ Increased energy levels
❯ Improved mood
❯ Enhanced libido
❯ Improved muscle mass and strength
❯ Better bone density
❯ Fat loss
❯ Improved cognitive function
❯ Better sleep quality
❯ Increased red blood cell production
❯ Enhanced overall well-being
Individual results and treatment recommendations will vary based on symptoms, lab results, health history, and other factors.
-
Aging is a leading cause of Low-T, as testosterone production naturally decreases over time.
Other factors may contribute to low testosterone, including obesity, chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disorders, and certain medications. Testicular injuries and other underlying health concerns can also affect testosterone levels.
Unfortunately, many men accept a diminished quality of life as their new normal, believing they must simply settle for it. With appropriate evaluation and guidance from a licensed medical professional, men can explore treatment options that may help restore hormone balance and support their overall well-being.
-
Treatment options may include:
❯ Testosterone injections
❯ Topical testosterone creams
❯ Pellet therapy
Your treatment plan will be based on your symptoms, lab results, medical history, and individual health needs. Some appointments may be completed through telehealth, while hormone pellet insertion requires an in-office visit.
What to Expect
Complete Your Labs
Begin with appropriate lab testing and baseline health information. In-office assessments may also include vital signs, measurements, and a body composition scan.
Review Your Results
Meet with your provider to discuss your lab results, health history, symptoms, and goals. Together, you will create a personalized plan of care.
Begin Your Treatment
Once your treatment plan is established, medication will be ordered. You will receive guidance to help you understand your plan and get started confidently.
Track Your Progress
Follow-up appointments are generally scheduled every three months, with lab testing typically completed twice per year or as needed. Your provider will monitor your response and make adjustments when appropriate.
Using Insurance for Labs: Elevate can provide an outside lab order for patients who prefer to use insurance. The lab will bill your insurance directly, and coverage cannot be guaranteed. Telehealth patients will receive instructions for completing required labs before their consultation.
Take Charge of Your Health
You do not have to accept low energy, reduced strength, changes in sexual health, or other symptoms as your new normal.
Schedule an appointment with Elevate Health and Hormone Clinic for a comprehensive hormone evaluation, and determine whether testosterone replacement therapy may be right for you.
